COMMON QUERIES

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO MY FIRST SESSION?

Just a towel, water and comfortable clothes. It's also important to make sure you have eaten ideally a couple of hours before training but if this is not possible try having a small piece of fruit. In your first session we will take your measurements, do a functional mobility screening and test your fitness and form.

HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM A REGULAR GYM TRAINER?

I'm internationally qualified and certified ITEC Level 3 (EQF Level 4). My training methods have been established over 5 years working one to one with clients and that has helped me grow immensely as a coach. I'm confident in my ability to help people and listen to what their goals and wants are and how to create a plan together to achieve them. I focus on long term results with small sustainable lifestyle changes and my passion is functional training and getting bodies to move better and feel better.

DO YOU CHARGE EXTRA FOR NUTRITIONAL GUIDANCE AND A DIET PLAN?

A nutritional plan is included as part of your training as it's just as big a part of your success as your training. You need to understand how to fuel your body for your goals and hopefully we can create some new habits to keep you on track.

WHAT TYPES OF HOME FITNESS EQUIPMENT DO YOU RECOMMEND?

Resistance bands, a yoga mat and a foam roller and a tennis ball will be your best friends when you start your training. Everyone gets homework and these tools with help you recover, become more mobile and strong where you need to.
